Hello. I am a first time contact. My ancestor Harmon Lovingood aka Herman Liebengutt was from Augusta County and migrated to Elbert Georgia in approx 1790. I am seeking info on any connection with the surname of Bell. Thank you.

Am researching my ggrandparents and generations back. Family names are Kindig (Kendig) and Lemon. At one time lived in the area of Stuart's Draft. My ggrandparents were David Kindig (b 18 May 1845, Stuarts Draft, VA) and Salina Lemon Kindig, ( b Maryland and moved to Woodford County, IL).

Living in AZ so research is proving difficult. I'm researching numerous family members but I will begin with George Hight that is connected with Haines Chapel. I know there was a book written that has information about the clan but have not been able to locate a copy. Do you have information to share?

Seeking info on a connection between McCorkle Family ca 1746 and a Sloan family, also ca 1746, may have migrated from Lancaster Co. PA about that time, and then after 1750 to Rowan Co, NC. An Elizabeth Sloan (who may have been a child of an unknown Mr. and Mrs. Sloan) and granddaughter or niece of a McCorkle) married Andrew Morrison in Rowan Co. 1766.

I am looking for the Burial place of my 4x great grandparents Thomas and Elizabeth Duttrow Phillips. Thomas died 1834 and Elizabeth sometime later. They moved from Martinsburg Va. Berkeley Co. to Augusta Co. along the Calfpasture River in the Deerfield area where they had land. My best guess is that they were buried in the old part of the Church Cemetery outside Deerfield. Montgomery and Claytons who Thomas had dealing with are there. The Church burned at one time and Records were lost. A Mrs. Rivercomb who moved there in 1947 told me there were Stones thrown in a pile along fence. In his Will Thomas asked that a Stone for him and his wife be put up after death so I belive there is or was a Stone somewhere. Thank you Leon H Phillips`
